Finished Monster Hunter Wilds this week - took about 85 hours to reach High Rank completion and beat the final story boss.
Short review: best entry in the series for people who haven't played before. The monster ecosystem actually feeling alive (monsters eating, sleeping, competing with each other) elevates the hunt feeling significantly. Graphically impressive, runs reasonably on a mid-range GPU at 1440p with DLSS.
For veterans: the game is somewhat easier than World/Iceborne until High Rank, then the difficulty ramps appropriately. The weapon design is excellent - Hunting Horn in particular has never felt better.
Started Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree now that Wilds is done. It's as brutal as people said. Currently stuck on the second major boss.
