Title: What did you learn this week? (Jun 30, 2026)
Threaded Mode
#1
Weekly thread. What is something you learned, figured out, or got working this week? Anything counts - a new CLI trick, a concept that finally clicked, a tool you discovered, a mistake that taught you something.

This thread goes up every Monday alongside the "working on" thread.

This week I learned that semantic chunking in RAG pipelines makes a surprisingly large difference vs fixed-size chunking. Also finally understood why integration tests in separate binaries can slow down Rust compile times - the crate boundary thing was not obvious to me before.
