Title: [Policy] Warnings, Bans & Appeals Process
Linear Mode
#1
How warnings work
Warnings are issued by moderators for rule violations. Minor violations get a warning with a note explaining what was wrong. Serious violations may result in an immediate ban without prior warning.

Warnings accumulate on your account. Reaching the warning threshold results in an automatic temporary ban. Warnings expire after 90 days of good standing.

Types of bans
  • Temporary ban (1-7 days) - for repeated minor violations or a single significant one. Account is locked but not deleted.
  • Extended ban (7-30 days) - for serious violations or pattern of behavior after prior warnings.
  • Permanent ban - reserved for spam accounts, illegal content, doxxing, or continued behavior after multiple temporary bans.

What gets you banned without warning
  • Posting spam, malware, or phishing links
  • Sharing or requesting illegal content
  • Doxxing - posting personally identifying information about other users without consent
  • Creating accounts to evade a prior ban

The appeals process
If you believe a warning or ban was issued in error, you can appeal. To do so:
  • Contact the admin via the contact page or email
  • State your username, the action taken, and why you believe it was incorrect
  • Appeals are reviewed by admin, not the moderator who issued the action
  • Appeals for permanent bans related to spam or illegal content will not be considered

Moderators are volunteers and human. Mistakes happen and the appeals process exists for exactly that reason.
