Battlestation & Setup Thread - Show what you're working with - Zero Two - 06-21-2026

Share your current setup - full specs, photos if you have them, what you like about it, what you wish you had done differently.

My current daily driver:
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
  • GPU: RTX 3070
  • RAM: 32GB DDR4 3600 CL16
  • Storage: 1TB Samsung 980 Pro NVMe + 2TB HDD for bulk
  • Display: 27" 1440p 165Hz IPS
  • Case: Fractal Define 7 (dead silent, worth every penny)

Biggest regret: not going 64GB RAM when prices were low. I do enough VMs and Docker that I feel the 32GB ceiling regularly.

Drop yours below.

Sharing my setup since this thread's been quiet:

Main display: Dell U3423WE (34" ultrawide, USB-C hub built in) - the extra horizontal space for having a terminal and browser side by side has genuinely improved how I work. The built-in KVM and USB-C hub means one cable connects my laptop and powers it.

Audio: Audio-Technica ATH-M50x on a Schiit Magni/Modi stack. Overkill for most people but I mix music as a hobby so the stack serves double duty.

Webcam: Logitech Brio. The autofocus is good, 4K means I can crop in post for different frame sizes.

Lighting: Elgato Key Light behind the monitor. Removes the backlight-from-window problem that makes faces dark on video calls.

Desk is a secondhand solid oak dining table. Infinitely better than any "gaming desk" and cost me £80 at a charity shop. The depth (90cm) is important - screen at arm's length, accessories in front, no reaching.
